At Ohel Shira, we believe that every woman’s body has a story—and sometimes, it simply needs the right support to find its balance.
We help women navigate challenges with menstrual health and fertility through personalized nutrition, lifestyle guidance, and compassionate support. We work with women experiencing irregular cycles, PCOS, prolonged bleeding, and fertility challenges, including situations where cycle timing may make conception more difficult.
What Makes Ohel Shira Different?
We believe there is no “one-size-fits-all” path to better health.
Every woman is unique, and we take the time to understand her individual needs, lifestyle, preferences, and goals. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, we look at the bigger picture and explore how nutrition and lifestyle may be influencing her cycle and overall well-being.
Our goal is to make healthy change simple, practical, personal, and achievable—helping each woman discover an approach that feels right for her and can become part of her everyday life.
Most importantly, we walk alongside the women we serve. We offer knowledge, encouragement, and hope while helping them better understand their bodies and take meaningful steps toward healthier cycles and fertility.
At Ohel Shira, we believe women deserve to know that there may be more to their health story than simply managing symptoms.
We are not doctors, and we do not diagnose or treat medical conditions. What we do is bring women the research—carefully selected, peer-reviewed research exploring the powerful connections between nutrition, metabolism, hormones, inflammation, and women's health.
We help women understand what this research may mean for them and how changes in the way they eat—including reducing refined carbohydrates and focusing on real, nourishing foods—may support meaningful improvements in the way their body's function.
Research has explored these connections in areas including PCOS, insulin resistance, gestational diabetes, irregular or difficult cycles, and endometriosis, with particularly encouraging findings in PCOS and metabolic health.
We don't promise a cure, and we don't tell women to replace their doctors. We give them another piece of the picture.
We believe that understanding the research can empower a woman to have better conversations with her healthcare providers and make informed choices about how she nourishes and cares for her body.
We don't simply ask, “What are you experiencing?” We also ask, “What does the research tell us about what might be connected to it?”
That is where Ohel Shira begins.
Ohel Shira brings together research, nutrition, experience, and individualized guidance to help women explore the connections between what they eat, how their bodies function, and the challenges they may be experiencing.
We ask questions. We explore the research. We connect the dots. And we help women discover possibilities.
